Combating an oil spill emergency requires trained and competent people at all levels of your company. An “On-Scene Commander” must combat the incident with the aid of multi disciplined task teams. An “Incident Manager” must lead a team in support of the On-Scene Commander to help manage change from one operational period to another. A “Crisis Manager” must lead a team of functional experts to support the Incident Management Team, restore business to normal, and l prevent the company from entering into unmanaged crisis conditions.
