Tier 2 response is classically an “in-country” response to a spill of national significance of up to 5,000 barrels of oil. The design for Tier 2 capability should fill the performance gap between local Tier 1 stockpiles and the syndicated Tier 3 service.
LSES is in the process of establishing classic Tier 2 Centres linked to a Regional “Hub” Tier 3 Centre. Prior to the establishment of LSES a seamless synergy between the 3 Tiered response levels had never been achieved by a single entity before. In the interest of offering a premium service, through its active marketing team, LSES has sought a close working relationship with industry and government on both a local and global level. Tier 2 contracted members will benefit from guaranteed service level agreements assuring: 24/7 call-out, competent responders, well maintained state of the art equipment and response packages designed to combat all forms of environmental disasters that exist in your country.
