Lamor Swire Environmental Solutions Assists in the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Response

Throughout June and July Lamor Swire Environmental Solutions has been assisting in the response to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. LSES has sold over US$2.4m worth of oil spill response equipment to BP through the Lamor Group. Equipment sent to the Gulf of Mexico has included:

–  A full range of submersible pumps and corresponding power packs
–  Landing craft bow collecting skimmers systems
–  Portable brush skimmers (minimax 12s) systems

Four separate batches of equipment have been air-freighted from LSES’s main hub in Dubai and have been delivered to various Staging Posts around the Gulf of Mexico.

LSES has been able to seamlessly achieve the door-to-door delivery of considerable volumes of equipment (much of which is classified as “out of gauge” and “dangerous goods”) due to its freight forwarding and warehouse management partnership with Inchcape Shipping Services.

LSES has, once again, illustrated the strength of its international rapid response service using Dubai has its logistics hub. Since the company’s inception in August 2008, LSES has provided services and equipment to every continent in the world other than the Antarctic. For further information on the services and oil spill response equipment stockpile which LSES owns, operates and manages please contact info@lamorswire.com or call +971 4 321 2022.
