LSES works with Mubarak Marine 

Lamor Swire Environmental Solutions (LSES) has once again successfully teamed up with Mubarak Marine (the Middle East’s leading salvors).

LSES provided a bespoke oil spill response package and experience oil spill response consultant to assist Mubarak Marine in the salvage of a fishing Trawler (the Baek Yang 27) which had caught fire and sunk whilst along side in Ajman Port.

The operation last three days.  During this period over 6,000l of oil was recovered from the vessel and none was discharged into the Port.  The bespoke oil spill response package included 200m of Lamor’s foam filled fence boom and a minimax 12 brush skimmer.  All personnel and equipment worked tirelessly without incident or unexpected downtime.

The response was completed ahead of schedule to the approval of LSES’s clients: Mubarak Marine as well as the Ajman Port Authority and Baek Yang 27’s P&I Club. This is the second occasion that LSES has worked with Mubarak Marine on a high profile salvage operation and it is hoped that the partnership will continue for many years to come.
