LSES Completes 18 month Tullow Oil Ghana Oil Spill Response Contract 01-04-10

On 1st April 2010, Lamor Swire Environmental Solutions completed its 18 month oil spill response equipment rental contract with Tullow Oil in Ghana.

LSES provided Tullow Oil Ghana with one Offshore oil spill response package (which included a Lamor Multi-skimmer capable of recovering 150cbm of oil per hour, 600m of heavy duty inflatable boom, a range of pumps and a 50cbm floating bladder) and one Port oil spill response package (including 2 Lamor minimaxes each capable of recovering 12cbm per hour, 400m of foam filled boom, a range of pumps and a range of fast erect
tanks.)

The Offshore Package has been demobilised to Swire Pacific Offshore’s base in Douala, Cameroon.  The package is on salvage station and ready for onward rental either for sake of preparedness or response.  The Port Package has been sold to Tullow in Ghana and remains on stand-by in Takoradi port.
