LSES delivers oil spill response training course to Anscor Swire Shipping Management in Manila

Lamor Swire Environmental Solutions (LSES) has teamed up with Swire Salvage and Swire Pacific Offshore to provide a vessel on salvage station in Singapore.

On 25th February, LSES’s Tom Campbell delivered an MCA 1 “Introduction to Oil Spill Response” training course to twenty Anscor Swire Ship Management senior officers in Manila.

The Nautical Institute accredited ½ day oil spill response course provides delegates with an introduction to the cause and effects as well as the fundamentals of how to respond to an oil spill. Twenty senior officers employed by Anscor Swire Ship Management and working on Swire Pacific Offshore’s vessels attended the course – all passed with flying colours.

LSES provides a range of Nautical Institute accredited courses which cover both “preparedness” and “response” to oil spills. LSES uses the latest case studies, equipment and exercises ensuring that the quality of training is of the highest quality within the industry.
