LSES Delivers more successful MCA Training in Singapore

Lamor Swire Environmental Solutions (LSES) delivered an MCA 1 and an MCA 3 Oil Spill Response Training Course to a delegation of 20 Swire Pacific Offshore, Swire Pacific Ship Management and Anscor Swire Ship Management employees from 18th January to 21st January 2010.

The MCA Courses were held at Swire Pacific Offshore’s Training Facility in Singapore. The Nautical Institute approved courses were taught by three experienced lecturers and included a full day on board the 10,800BHP AHTS the Pacific Warlock. A wide range of LSES equipment was deployed during the day, including a range of skimmers and boom.

Initial feedback from the courses have been very positive. LSES’s contract to train Swire Pacific Offshore’s ship and shore staff in oil spill response highlights the Group’s dedication to being best in class in regular day-to-day activities but also in the emergency services. Moreover, training Swire Pacific Offshore staff enables LSES to increase its responder network in order to fulfill its increasing client / response requirements.
